Mediation

Mediation is a communication-focused process to encourage the peaceful resolution of disputes between two or more people. It is a flexible process that can be tailored to meet individual client needs. Most people involved in the Colorado court system will be required to attempt mediation prior to scheduling a hearing in court. Peak Empowerment LLC provides mediation services for individuals, families and businesses. Holly Panetta is a contract mediator with the Colorado Office of Dispute Resolution (“ODR”) and can accept court referred and reduced fee cases in select counties. For more information on mediation in the Colorado courts or ODR policies and rates, please visit: www.coloradoodr.org

Coaching

If you are thinking about filing for divorce, quitting your job or changing a current parenting plan, you may benefit from coaching. Similar to mediation, coaching is a communication-focused process to help you navigate difficult conversations and life changing transitions. Different from mediation, coaching can be provided to individuals in a discreet, one-on-one format. Coaching can be useful to prepare you for approaching another person you are having a dispute with or help you to be successful engaging in a challenging conversation. Coaching is a practical tool for helping you to show up as your best self during life’s most challenging and important moments.

Child & Family investigation

Colorado courts may utilize a Child & Family Investigator (“CFI”) to conduct brief, focused investigations prior to making determinations regarding allocation of parental responsibilities (decision making and parenting time). Holly Panetta is an approved CFI on the Colorado statewide roster; she accepts state pay in select cases.
